Another meeting today. After it ended I had lunch at a nearby khao man gai shop. It's right in the heart of Chinatown, so of course it was delicious. For just 90 baht you get steamed chicken, fried chicken, rice, and soup. It was really cheap and tasty.

Paper Plan Project, Day 2
I called a taxi and headed to the same coworking space as yesterday, called Paper Plan Project. I'll be working on projects here again today. It's a place where many people with the same drive gather, so the atmosphere keeps me in a flow state.

I ordered a drink that mixed panna cotta and espresso. The girl at the register looked a lot like Kendall Jenner, was friendly, had great posture, and was incredibly attractive. I fell for her.
But I realized something: I really do get used to cute or beautiful people quickly. I kept concentrating on my work here.
"I was the one sitting one seat ahead of you."

When I messaged the friend who told me about this café saying "I'm here now~", she replied "No way! I'm coming too!" But since I'd been working the whole time, we decided to meet after 6 PM.
We exchanged Instagram accounts, and when I checked her story she was already at the café. But I couldn't tell which one she was.
I got ridiculously nervous in an instant. After finishing my journal I went outside and messaged her; she said "I'm still here." I went back into the café and approached her, and it turned out she had been studying in the seat one ahead of mine the whole time.
This kind of situation is really nerve-wracking. We're sharing the same space but we're still strangers; at the same time we're friends and meeting for the first time. Both of us were kind of tense. But within about a minute we came back to our senses and were able to carry on a conversation.
A friend I can talk about antibiotics with
She said she's a fifth-year university student studying pharmacy. She studies for six years at university and after graduating she might work at a pharmacy. I really think that's amazing.
We decided to go eat Kao Soi together. She was very friendly, upbeat, talkative, and easy to talk to. While we were walking she kept saying "chai chai", so when I asked "what are you saying?" she told me "chai" is Thai for "yes". We burst out laughing.
We had quite a lively conversation about pharmacy. When I asked "Hey, do you know about carbapenems?" she of course knew. We also talked about aminoglycosides and macrolides, and she was surprised, "How do you know those too, Kota?!" It was the first time in my life I'd been able to talk about antibiotics with someone. I felt kind of happy.
Kao Soi dinner and her dream

We arrived at the Kao Soi restaurant. There were a lot of foreigners and the prices were fairly high. Still, it was a fun dinner. She likes music and said she's been to Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo concerts in Thailand. She kept saying "I want to travel!!" which left an impression. I felt she was truly free-spirited.
She's from northeastern Thailand and has come to Bangkok to study pharmacy. After graduation she hasn't decided whether she'll return home to support her family or travel.
ENFP meets ENFP
While talking with her I felt she was probably an ENFP like me. She's the type who hates being cooped up at home and just wants to go out. I'm sure she's an ENFP—because I am one.
I'm an ENFP myself, but honestly ENFP-ENFP compatibility, romantically speaking, isn't that great. Because I'm an extrovert who gets energy from meeting people, I'm more easily attracted to types with deep inner worlds like INFJ, INFP, and ISFP. This was another self-discovery through my travels.
What's interesting is that when I was an ENTJ a year ago, I thought indecisive-seeming ISFPs and INFPs wouldn't suit me at all. It's funny how people can change so much. So "now" may be like this, but the future might not be. And that's okay. Just live in the present.
On the way back we talked about maybe playing badminton or going for a run together sometime. As someone who likes badminton and running, it was the perfect suggestion.
She went out of her way to accompany me on the BTS and walked with me to the station where I would transfer to the MRT. She was really considerate, and I appreciated that. I'm glad I met her.

After that, the portion of Kao Soi wasn't enough, so I bought a sandwich at 7-Eleven and ate it at the hostel.
