I ended up getting sleepy today and woke up at 11:45. After that, because a project's deadline was close, I went to a café to work on it. I had mostly packed yesterday, so it was easy. I've gotten pretty used to packing for the airport and for everyday use! For flights I put all battery-containing items in a small bag so they can be separated quickly at check-in, and for everyday use I only pack my laptop and chargers.
I checked out and asked the lady if I could leave my luggage, and she kindly said yes so I decided to leave it. I called a motorbike taxi with Grab and went to a café that had Russian desserts and bread. It was a place a friend had told me about.

The last motorbike in Nha Trang, riding along the coast

We rode along the coast before arriving there, and I thought how really beautiful it was. Nha Trang is probably the city with the longest coastline in Vietnam, I think. It was very beautiful. By the way, the weather is so nice today. I thought that if I had friends or a girlfriend I'd like to go to the sea with them. But I couldn't go anyway because of the project, haha.
A café packed with Russians, and a digestive problem

Arrived at the café. As expected, there were so many Russians it was almost full. I ordered kombucha for now. That's because lately the coating on my tongue has turned yellow, which means there's heat in my stomach and intestines — in other words inflammation — so I need to give my stomach a rest.

I bought the medicine that ChatGPT recommended at a nearby pharmacy. I took it right away.

I pushed through the project at high speed and finished it. It was 15:30, so I called another motorbike taxi to take me to a place with a beautiful coastline.
The light and shadow of Nha Trang found on a walk along the coast

I walked along that coastline listening to music. Little kids were gathered and dancing at an outdoor club-like spot with booming music, and a dead dog was washed up on the shore, stiff. There were a lot of flies and insects. It felt kind of sad.

About 90% of the people at the sea were Russian and the remaining 10% Vietnamese — a huge number of Russians were at the beach. I thought everyone really loves the sea. Well, Russia is a big country and has hardly any access to the sea, so I understand that feeling. While walking there I filmed a French journal.
From Nha Trang to Cam Ranh Airport — a 25-kilometer journey
Eventually I walked back to the hotel. I packed my luggage and decided to go to the airport. It's as far as 25 kilometers from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh Airport, so it's very far. But since it runs along the coast I wanted to go by motorbike, and because I was able to go by motorbike in Hanoi before I thought I could do it this time too — but when I tried to order one, only cars were available.
Maybe it's because bikes aren't allowed into the airport. Oh well, I had no choice and decided to use a car. It's about 1,500 yen for 25 kilometers, so it's cheap, right?
After that, since I was in a taxi I relaxed. I listened to music and reflected on life in Vietnam. I had a lot of emotions. I'm an ENFP now, so I really enjoy it. I'm sensitive to emotions and can use them immediately, which feels really human and fun. ENTJ is fun in its own way, but it's all about lacking emotion and only wanting to reach goals.
A country where there's Olivier in the airport lounge

Arrived at the airport! It was really simple and I was able to check in right away — it was great. I'm used to all the check-in procedures, so I could do it at one-fifth the speed of other people. I'm proud of that.
After security check I went to the lounge. Although Vietnam is cheaper than the Philippines, it's really nice that domestic airports have lounges. I really like things like that. The Philippines didn't have them at all and was really dirty. Especially Manila, haha.

In the lounge, I ate my usual meal. Sweet potato, rice, sautéed pork, warm tea, water, watermelon, matcha cake, mini cupcakes, and Olivier. Surprisingly, Nha Trang's airport has Olivier, so I thought that's impressive. It feels like it's made for Russians. It was really amusing.
Vietnam Airlines, an Airbus A321 flight

I did a bit of project work and wrote in my diary, and finally it was time for the flight! My seat was again at the very back, and it was Vietnam Airlines on an Airbus A321, so it was just perfect. I love Airbuses, and the blue of Vietnam Airlines is calming — such a nice color, I think.
Maybe because it's a rural domestic route, we took off quickly and didn't go very high before arriving in Da Nang. I even wondered whether it makes sense to use a plane for such a short distance. I had originally planned to take the sleeper train, but since it was three days before, tickets were sold out, so I switched to a plane at the last minute.
The scariest landing so far
The landing was the scariest so far. Whether it was raining or the brakes were less effective, the touchdown was much later than usual and it felt like the wheel brakes weren't working. We did come to a stop safely, but we had almost reached the overrun area and stopped at the very edge. It was a really frightening experience.

After arriving at Da Nang Airport I took a taxi to the hotel. The taxi driver seemed kind of irritated. I wondered if something had happened with his family, or if something bad had happened to him.
Arrived in Da Nang, and looking forward to Hue

Checked into the hostel. It was the type where everyone sleeps together after a long time, so taking my stuff out of my backpack was a pain. In the end I was able to sleep at 3 AM. But I have to get up at 6:30. Oh no. I haven't slept at all.

Today I want to go to bed by 11 and wake up at 8. I've wanted to visit Hue for a long time, so I'm really excited! Maybe because of that, and of course for other reasons too, I couldn't sleep.
