Today I ended up not being able to wake up until after noon again. I was probably still so tired from the gym that my body just wanted to keep sleeping.
After waking up I took a shower like usual and got ready to go out. Then I thought I'd make a protein shake and went to the kitchen, but there was no measuring cup.
I asked the uncle, but he said he didn't know where it was, so I gave up and skipped the protein.
Large serving of khao man gai for 70 baht
For lunch today I went to my usual khao man gai place. I ordered a bit more khao man gai than usual and had the rice served separately. It cost 70 baht (about 315 yen). It was ridiculously cheap.

Then I walked to the coworking space. It's my favorite place, but I can't really discover new cafes. Many cafes close at 6, and I go around 2 pm, so there's only four hours.

They close early. So I ordered a hojicha latte with no sugar at my usual coworking space.
Something that happened at the coworking space

While I was ordering, a Western woman came up holding a small milk cup and asked, 'Is this hot or iced?'

I thought, you can tell by touching it. The staff answered, 'It's hot,' and she jumped on that and said, 'I can't do hot, so give me iced.' I felt like, why didn't she just say she wanted it iced instead of asking first and then demanding it? The way people communicate really shows their personality.
Studying React is getting more and more fun
After that I went upstairs and started working right away. I had a project today, so I finished it. Then I decided to study React. I'm starting to feel that just doing my current coding work isn't enough. I'm fortunate in terms of income and I don't work many hours, but it's gradually getting boring.
So I want to study React and other new programming stuff to move up to higher levels. I've been taking a few courses recently, and it's starting to make sense. This is really fun. At first it's really hard and I have no idea what I'm doing, but as I keep at it I start to understand. This is when it really starts to become fun.
I set goals for my round-the-world trip

Before I knew it, it was 8:30. Today I also set goals to achieve before finishing my round-the-world trip.

Goals like reaching B1 level in French, getting a six-pack, earning $10,000 as a content creator, and getting work as a front-end engineer. I thought it would be interesting to make a rule that I can return to Japan once I achieve these, so I'm going to do that.
Fried-chicken khao man gai and 14,000 steps

After that I went to a spot with two Starbucks next to each other, in the top-right of the Old City. When I tried to order khao man gai, they only had 'Fried', so I went with the fried-chicken khao man gai.
I still felt it wasn't enough, so I ordered 'Fried pork with rice' too, but honestly I could tell the sauce had sugar in it, and I noticed the pork had way too much fatty parts. I thought, this is no good.
The hostel would be about 1.5 km if I walked straight, but I decided to walk halfway around the Old City and ended up with 14,000 steps. After that I wrote in my diary and ended the day.
