A day I worked 12 hours at Fabrica in Tbilisi. When it's a place you love, you don't get tired.

There were only three people in a 12-person room.

I thought, 'It's not even 12 people.' Someone came back in the middle of the night and woke me up partway through; they turned on the light and I woke up dazzled.

Still, I didn't feel very lonely. Before I knew it, it had disappeared. I felt really good.

An empty early-morning coworking space.

I went to bed at 1:00 and woke up at 5:50. My sleep was under five hours. I barely slept.

But somehow I felt alive.

I took a shower, changed, and went to the coworking space on the first floor. I went there close to 6, but no one was there.

I was really surprised. It was very dark.

So I went to the supermarket to buy food. I bought two fried cutlets similar to chicken katsu, Imeruli khachapuri, an energy drink, and water.

I started working around 7:30. I wrote in my diary and prepared for the site migration.

Wi‑Fi, Zoom, and the eyes around me

The site migration wasn't going as planned. The Wi‑Fi was so slow that downloading just 2GB took as long as five hours.

It was really too slow and taking too long, so when I told them, the boss agreed to walk me through it. He recorded the site migration method on video, and in the process made one for everyone in case we didn't understand in the future.

People were working around me — in front, to my right, and to my left — so I was really nervous.

Just speaking Japanese, I couldn't help but think people would definitely look at me. They probably didn't care at all, but I overreacted.

I kept thinking, 'That's really something about me.'

So, after about two hours on Zoom, we were finally able to launch the site. I was really happy. I learned a lot. I'm just full of gratitude.

Twelve hours, in a place I love

After that, I worked on producing the Russian version of my media site and made revisions to a banner project. I really had work to do and was very tired.

I'll be going to Latvia later this month and want to take a break. So I strongly felt I should work hard in the first part of this month and finish things quickly.

In the end, I woke at 6:00, started working at 6:30, and finished at 17:50. Almost 12 hours.

I was exhausted, but it was really fun.

I didn't really feel like I was working. I was in a place I like, eating things I like, listening to music, and when I had free time I ate khachapuri.

I'm only doing things I like.
