I woke up at 11:30 today. I had a meeting, so I needed to get up earlier. Not that you could call that early, though.
After the meeting went smoothly, I decided to go to a coworking space on the upper floors of a skyscraper that a friend I met in Bangkok had told me about.

It wasn't within walking distance, so I first went into a nearby café I found and ordered Khao Soi. But it cost around 160 baht—three times what it is at a street stall. I felt a bit regretful but shrugged it off. Then I rode a motorbike there. It's quite far from the city center, so the travel time was long.
The view from the 40th floor and the DJ's music

I finally arrived at the tower. I wondered how to get in, so I asked the front desk and they opened the gate with a keycard. A dedicated elevator took me up to the 40th floor. It was surprising. Being on the 40th floor, the view was really beautiful.
I nervously stepped into what looked like the coworking space, and there were about 60 seats with a really stylish atmosphere. Beautiful, bar-like interiors, a vibe that felt like a café and a bar combined. A DJ was playing hip-hop in the middle, and it was a very sophisticated place.
A place to get into flow

I sat at an empty seat and ordered a matcha latte. It was pretty expensive, but it came with a Wi‑Fi ticket, so I connected and started working.
Looking around, everyone was working on laptops or iPads, or working on their own projects. Influenced by that atmosphere, I also got a lot done. I was really happy to be able to enter a flow state.

This is a completely different experience from an ordinary café. It really surprised me how different it is to have people around you who are working versus not. I thought this was the best coworking space in Bangkok. No doubt about it.
Before I knew it, I'd walked 5 km.

Before I knew it, it was 6 p.m. It looked like some kind of event was happening in the evening; a lot of people had gathered, and it definitely felt like this would become a bar at night.
After coming down to the ground, I figured I might as well walk home and started walking in the same direction as the metro line. In the end I walked a whopping 5 km. Before I knew it I'd passed the terminal station and arrived at the same place where I'd taken the motorbike earlier today—already near Chinatown. My feet had pretty much had enough, so I decided to take a motorbike home.
Even after arriving at the hostel I had work to do, so I pushed through and got it done. It was a work-filled day, but I walked a lot and got good exercise. Finding such a great place was thanks to the friend I met in Bangkok. Thank you. I think I'll come here again tomorrow.
